Ada Casto (she/her)
LCSW-S, LCDC
Texas Licences: 62630 & 14256
With more than two decades of experience, I’ve had the privilege of assisting a diverse range of folks—from children to adults, veterans, couples, and fellow helping professionals—as they navigate challenging times. This includes experiences like trauma, grief, mental health crisis, relationship struggles, life transitions, burnout, and substance misuse.
To support this wide range of needs, my work draws from approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Sex Therapy, and mindfulness. These are therapeutic modalities I’ve seen support meaningful, lasting change—helping people move toward healing and growth.
In practice, therapy goes beyond understanding emotions. It’s about building on your strengths, challenging negative thinking, aligning behavior with your values, and creating healthier relationships with yourself and others. We can work through whatever life brings your way, at a pace that feels right for you.
Grounding this work, I’m a licensed clinical social worker and chemical dependency counselor with a business background, which allows me to bring a practical and thoughtful lens to our work together.
On a personal note, I identify as a Latina, first-generation, heterosexual, cisgender woman, and I’m committed to creating a space that feels inclusive, supportive, and welcoming to all.
If you’re ready to take that first step, I’m here to support you.
